WELL, What a year it’s been so far!!
But things are improving and slowly getting back to a way of life – a little bit different from before but enough for Tannorah to still be able to provide you with the experience you have come to love at the wee salon with the big heart!
Of course there are a few changes, so let’s go through a few of them just to let you know what to expect.
I am still following Professional Salon Industry Standards but I have enhanced the cleaning and hygiene procedures to include all public areas & hard surfaces between clients (as per Government Guidelines).
This should help to provide you with confidence in Tannorah, your wellbeing is at the heart of of the Salon.
As always appointments are pre-booked, all customers are being asked to update their T&C’s, Salon Policy (once only) and will also receive a Pre-Appointment Health Form prior to their appointment – ALL forms must be returned, if there is any concern regarding the Health Form you will be contacted and your appointment may be changed to a later date at a mutually agreed time.
Less Appointments are available due to the extra cleaning between each client therefore i recommend BOOKING EARLY to get your preferred slot!
Clients are asked to come alone with minimal belongings EXCEPT CHOCOLATE, PROSECCO or FLOWERS! These are always welcome!! – Joke!!
Please try to arrive at your appointment time (not late or early). Remain in the car till i open the door for you. You will be asked if anything has changed from Pre-Appointment Health Form.
I will be wearing PPE conforming to the Government Industry Guidelines.
I ask that you wear a mask as per the Scottish Government Industry Guidelines – this not only helps to protect you & me BUT also the Salon Industry which is not yet fully open. Please be aware that I can only offer treatments which can be performed without the client removing their mask. If you do not have a mask one will be provided for you.
Hand Gel will be provided to sanitise your hands when entering. Hand sanitising gel is readily available for your use throughout the salon.
If you feel unwell at all, I ask that you PLEASE re-schedule your appointment, I can help you with this.
There are also a few things behind the scenes that might not stand out. Just a few include the “Famous”, “Most Relaxing”, “I want one of these to watch TV” Chair is now completely stripped between each client wiped down and disinfected before being refreshed as always with newly laundered covers.
Do you like my blind ? I’m feeling quite proud as I made it myself – it’s not perfect but i’m pleased.
I’ve taken away all my pretty containers and as much as possible is in clip containers – to prevent as much cross contamination as possible.
Did i mention I’m excited to see you in the Salon whether I’m welcoming you back or coming for the first time. I appreciate your help in keeping Tannorah Beauty Salon the same safe environment it has always been & clients have come to love.
